After multiple visits, the salon and spa has become a favourite of mine for its facials, heavenly massages, customised hair services and top-notch nail services. It's all in the details! From the excellent service to the relaxing aroma blend that welcomes you, the Trimmings team nails it each time.

When I want to treat myself without burning a hole in my pocket, my go-to is the signature pedicure ($49) at the nail salon, which is a separate room next to the hair salon. I love how exclusive and private the space feels. The seats face large windows that bring in lots of natural light. It's also the perfect spot to people-watch! Each session starts with your choice of tea; for me, it's always the homemade ginger tea.

Nail therapist Shan, who has over 10 years of experience, began to soak my feet in a warm and soothing bath. I can get a little nervous and squeamish with cuticles, but Shan's calm and gentle demeanour made the removal process a pleasant one. She was meticulous and professional, restoring my stubborn in-grown toenail quickly and efficiently, without any discomfort. Also included were a foot and leg scrub, as well as a brief massage, which I almost dozed off to. Exactly an hour later, I walk out with expertly and evenly painted toenails, smooth soles and a rejuvenated mind. I'm only trusting Shan from now on!
